Zinedine Zidane, who praised Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid for his “incredible” exploits, declared himself to be “a big fan” of the Englishman.
Bellingham chose to don Real Madrid’s legendary No. 5 jersey—which Zidane had previously worn—when he relocated to the Spanish city in the summer. The 20-year-old’s boldness was ridiculed by many, but his on-field accomplishments have won over his detractors, and now the legendary midfield player himself has showered the young guy with admiration.
Zidane stated in an interview with Adidas: “He’s an incredible player who does incredible things.” You could have predicted what he would do, but his actions have beyond any statistical predictions.
Remember that he is only twenty years old. He brought a lot of ambition and objectives with him when he joined Real Madrid, and he is raising the standard. It’s wonderful to see him like that because he’s just showcasing who he is to everyone. He’s someone I really admire, and we now want him to win championships with Real Madrid. Bellingham, who formerly wore Zidane’s Adidas predator boots, has emerged as the brand’s poster child and has been in multiple ads for the brand. In addition to scoring his team’s second goal in a 4-2 victory against the defending Serie A champions, he donned the boots for the first time against Napoli in the Champions League.
In his first season at the Santiago Bernabeu, Bellingham has 20 goals and 8 assists. With a brace against Barcelona earlier in October, he eclipsed Zidane’s record for the most goals scored for the team in a season and now leads the La Liga goal-scoring standings.
