A child who lost five family members in the earthquake in Morocco was located and flown to Spain to enroll at REAL MADRID’s school.
Abdul Rahim Awhida, a 14-year-old Real fan, wiped his eyes with the club shirt while reliving his horrifying experience on television.
His favorite team, Spain, and other countries all around the world were affected by the interview.
Real requested the phone number for Abdul’s uncle from the television network Al Arabiya.
The team was able to track him down and integrate him into their football family.
The 6.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Abdul’s home country last Friday claimed the lives of more than 2,900 people, including his father, mother, two brothers, and grandfather.
In a post-show interview that caused viewers to cry, he said he wanted to fulfill his father’s wish to finish school so that he might become a teacher or a doctor.
And he said, “I just want to finish my studies.”
After that, Abdul was shocked and overjoyed to learn from Al Arabiya in a subsequent chat that Real was eager to assist him.
He will be integrated into the Bernabeu Giants’ academy to play football and finish his education.
