Last week, the 17-year-old took a plane to Madrid and went to the Valdebebas training ground, where he met his future teammates for the first time. After that, he went to Bernabeu to watch Real Madrid play Villarreal in La Liga on Sunday.
The teenager watched Jude Bellingham score the first goal live from the stadium. Luka Modric set it up beautifully. The experienced midfielder was found by Lucas Vazquez on the edge of the box. He then passed the ball first time to the England player, who scored. Then, Vazquez set up Rodrygo to double his team’s lead in the 37th minute.
The play between Modric and Bellingham was a sign of things to come, as the two players shone in Sunday’s game. Modric set up Brahim Diaz’s great effort in the second half, and Carlo Ancelotti watched his team dominate the game.
The Brazilian player has already arrived in Madrid, but he won’t be able to sign with the club until he turns 18 next summer. Until then, he has had a great time at his new club, especially with boss Carlo Ancelotti, who told the kid to have fun right now.
